Best Caribbean Beaches in Costa Rica

    Hi travelers!

I’m planning a trip to Costa Rica and I’m really interested in exploring the Caribbean side. I’ve heard a lot about the Pacific beaches, but not as much about the Caribbean ones.

I’m looking for recommendations on the best beaches to visit over there. I’m into chill vibes, clear water, and somewhere I can relax but also explore a bit (maybe snorkeling or hiking nearby). Any must-see spots?

And if you’ve been, how’s the vibe compared to the Pacific side?

    Thanks!

You HAVE to check out Puerto Viejo!

It’s got that perfect laid-back vibe you're looking for, plus some of the most beautiful beaches on the Caribbean side. Playa Cocles is a short bike ride away and great for surfing, while Playa Chiquita is more secluded if you're looking for peace and quiet.

Don’t forget to visit the Jaguar Rescue Center too, it's a unique experience! The water is crystal clear, and there are some cool hiking spots nearby as well.

The vibe here is more chill and less developed than on the Pacific side, so you’ll feel like you’re off the beaten path.

Read your discussion, and I also visited Costa Rica. It is the best and most beautiful Country in Central America. It is famous for its national parks, volcanoes, and wildlife. I went there and I visited the beaches, national parks, waterfalls, and museums.
