So one of my best friends is a pilot for Delta. He's been flying with them for a while. While flying to Poland, we took many KLM operated flights and the customer service and experience was far below what Delta offers.
I reached out to him asking why it's such a step down and his reponse:
"they are code partner airlines to Delta and do a lot of routes we don't do. It's an inferior experience in both planes and staff, from my experience."
So there you have it.
I had a full water spilled on me with very little more than an apology, no offer to clean it up or get me a new blanket for the overnight flight. Not a huge deal but noticeably less customer service focus compared to Delta.
When picking up trash it was very robotic. "Trash to discard, trash to discard," on repeat for 10 minutes as she walked down the aisle.
Just my observation. Anyone else see this?
