"Venice, Italy" is a name that I was very excited about, and I was willing to go out there because I have seen lots of aesthetic reels about this place, and it seems aesthetic to me. But when I was there, the reality was something else. This city was not as the same people portray it. This place has ancient buildings, and you need a lot of stamina to go upstairs, and the water in the streets is quite polluted and smelly. This was not that province that I was dying to explore. I must say, before planning any trip, you should get some positive reviews instead of following the crowd of social media.


This trip was nothing else but the WASTAGE of time and money.

I read your post, and I am sad for you because I saw a lot of things; people didn't show the bad side and just said that this is the perfect one. So I believe you shouldn't trust any one person and personally explore and then share the review. I have never visited this city, but many times, I have heard this name, and I have also thought about exploring it, and this is the happy thing for me: I read your post and see the bad side of this city. But I am really sad for you, but this is the one thing you learn during this tour: don't believe anyone, especially on social media.

Calliope!! I just visited Italy, and that was not a good experience for me. This place is not as aesthetic as we see in Instagram posts. No doubt every place has its own good and bad, but the bad always has a long-lasting effect on people's experiences. I am also one of those who get stuck somewhere when I face this kind of situation. This place has some modern areas that are quite costly, but in some places it is totally a mess.
